We are learning how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators!

Students have been working hard all week on adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators. In order to add and subtract correctly students need to understand how to find equivalent fractions, reduce fractions and multiplication/division fact fluency needs to be strong. Ask your student about the traditional method and the butterfly method!
