Students have been exploring the relationship between land and water during this science unit!
In the pictures, you will see the student's stream tables. Students use these tables to complete a series of science labs. Students are exploring the effect of water on land. Look at those streams!
Groups carefully and neatly store their materials. |
Harry is bulldozing his soil. |
Each group member has an assigned role to help the lab run smoothly! |
Henry is pouring the water into the stream table to act as a waterfall and Chloie is catching the run-off. |
Wow, what a deep stream! |
Students discovered today that dry soil creates deeper streams than wet soil. |

Today we began writing our adventure and survival stories!
After a few days of planning, students started the beginning of their stories! I think everyone has a unique way to hook the reader!
